


Q: What is Environmental Sustainability?
A: Sustainability is defined as meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of the future generations to meet their own needs.
Q: How can we achieve sustainability?
A: There are three ways we can achieve sustainability. 1) Socially as in spreading awareness and advocacy, through media such as facebook, twitter and instagram to communicate with the students on campus. As well as hosting seminars and workshops to spread knowledge to our student body. 2) Environmental, creating a natural habitat, through renewable and effective waste management (providing means of ways to recycle appropriatelty by sorting goods). 3) Economically and cultivating entrepeurial spirt, though promoting locally grown foods and products to our school. Fridays from 8:30am -1pm between Bakeless and Navy Hall. *weather permitting*
Q: What is a carbon footprint?
A: A carbon footprint is the measure of the environmental impact of a particular individual or organization's lifestyle or operation, measured in units of carbon dioxide.
